Why is SSL important
June 30, 2021Borrow, steal or create? How do most find their inspiration for their new campaign?
Writers block , not just for the writer of a book, but everyone who creates content will have to deal with it sooner or later. However, technology does not stand still and as tempting as it is to use an AI writing platform, we refuse to use it.
I myself am OK with tips, suggestions and ideas from other people, but software that writes the texts for me, that’s what I do. (Suggested words during a conversation, I’m a fan of those, HANDY! )
Ideas and inspiration work like renewable energy, the more you have, the more you get… BUT that first idea, which triggers the influx of inspiration, is sometimes hard to find. Or not? Below are some “quick fix” ways to fill the void and fill the screen with wisdom or just a nice quote.
begging
Not on the corner of a street with an “inspiration wanted” sign, although this could of course also be an option when nothing else works. By begging I mean reaching out to your network, asking your community, friends, family, co-workers and even your partner and asking for their ideas and directions.
A fully prepared campaign can already follow from this and if not, it will probably be a nice topic on which you can build and substantiate something.
Yes, AI generated content could possibly work around that topic.
To borrow
Ah, the age-old loan principle, wonderful isn’t it.
You research and dig deep into a particular topic. By watching and listening to several other writers, you get inspiration on that particular topic. You can select a “hot topic” beforehand, while scrolling through social media.
Borrowing can therefore ensure that you gain new inspiration AND see new possibilities that you have not yet thought about.
Of course be careful with how much you “borrow”. Too much would bring you closer to stealing and copyright… it is more expensive than a content writer.
To steal
Personally with least favorite, but everyone is guilty of it sometimes. Sometimes others just REALLY have a good idea that you can’t transform without losing power. In that case, “imitating” sounds better and softer to the ears.
And above all remember: Give credit where credit is due!
To create
The hardest, but also the most satisfying way. You start with nothing and suddenly the screen on the other side is filled with inspiring material, full of call to actions and so on.
The readers and your followers enjoy what you just posted online, without knowing how much work has actually gone into it. Of course you can reap the benefits of your creation through new wins, but we’re all happy to hear that that one blog or quote was just REALLY fun and inspiring to see/read.
The vast majority of people think creating is the hardest part and just plainly say, I’m not creative, so I don’t have to start it.
WRONG everyone is creative, everyone has ideas.
Agreed , some ideas aren’t the best and others are just plain bad, but a diamond was once uncut too…
