Do you have a website, webshop or physical store? Why a Blog has probably already crossed your mind. And that is why a blog page should no longer be missing. It is a place where you, as an expert, share your knowledge with your customers and provide information about your business, products and service. Think of it as a handy and inexpensive marketing tool . A Blog will bring you more visitors and it costs (almost) nothing. The biggest investment is time. In this article we share 4 reasons why a blog on your website is only a good idea. Here you can also read how you can feel the Blog with valuable content.

1. Share YOUR knowledge

You can share your knowledge through a blog. By responding to current affairs, you also show that you know what you are doing and you show your visitors that you are up-to-date. After all, you are the expert in your industry. By consistently blogging about tips, you build trust with your reader. In this way, customers and future customers can be persuaded a little faster to make a purchase.

We also do this by the way. If you have a topic about which you would like to see a Blog published, you can always contact us.

2. Personal interaction with your visitors

A blog is an accessible source of information. Blogs are written in such a way that you can build a relationship with customers faster. The informal tone makes it more personal, without sacrificing professionalism. By sharing a new blog on Social Media, you share information, but you also start the conversation and interaction with your customers. This makes customers feel involved in what you do. Because of their response, you also know what is going on with them and you can ensure that you adjust your business on some matters. It is important to respond to the questions and comments, because a relationship has to come from both sides.

3. It makes for a vibrant website

A website, a webshop and a store do not change much in themselves. To make and keep your “image” alive, you can add a blog to your website. Here you can share the latest news, products and services with your customers. It is therefore easy to share relevant and up-to-date information. Because every blog is seen and ranked by Google as a page, you have a better chance of being found via the search engine.

4. Attract more visitors with a blog on your website

Every page that contains your website is an opportunity to be found on Google, so it’s a shame not to take that opportunity. Google values unique content that is up-to-date. The more people search for your blog topic, click on your link and stay on your website for a long time, the higher your ranking in the search engine and the better your company is found. Link building is of course also very important. Make sure other websites link to your blog post on their website. These so-called backlinks also contribute to a higher ranking in Google . Every time your blog post is shared, there is an extra backlink. Social media is THE platform par excellence to make your blog and blog post extra visible. Depending on the type of blog, it is best to share your blog on Facebook or LinkedIn . A mention of your blog post via Instagram is of course always a good idea!
